OUR STORY
Inspired to be a chef since he was in 6th grade....

Unlike many of us, Anthony Bachman, knew what he wanted to do at a young age. Like age 11 or 12. "Yeah, I knew I wanted this as my career (Chef) in 6th Grade." Clearly his passion hasn't changed an ounce since then. Bachman has been in Fargo-Moorhead most of his life, graduating from Fargo South in 2007. He then went onto Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Minneapolis/St. Paul, graduating from there in 2008.

GETS BETTER
Feed the community and the community will feed you....

Anthony earned his chops while with local favorite, Santa Lucia. Starting out as a Cook then Executive Chef and also ran their mobile gyro cart for 3 years. That's where this thing started evolving into something the community had never seen. After spending several years on the mobile vending scene, (A la John Favreau in the movie Chef), this was the real life story of an FM resident with classical culinary training, bringing the flavor to where the people are. And, it's still being written.

ABOUT US

SINCE 2008

AS WE GO
Added our second mobile food concept during a pandemic...

Rolling off of the success of the Fargo Fillies concept (2017), Bachman launched another mobile food masterpiece, Mac Daddy's Gourmet Mac & Cheese in 2020. And... "We won Best of the Fest- Judge's Choice at our very first event (Bismarck Food Truck Festival)." Says Bachman. You might find this guy out on a busy Broadway Friday night, behind the grill at your family's favorite festival Saturday, then again at Sunday brunch at your charity's annual fundraiser. There's a reason why Elite Catering is found at so many area functions, let us show you why.

A REPUATION, NOW SET IN STONE
Built on our street food roots, we're now excited to bring you our first brick and mortar restaurant...

In an era of shutdowns, short staffs and spotty hours of operation, three things have allowed us to excel and grow rapidly: flavor, customer service and value. Now you can get cheese curds even if it's cold out, gourmet mac & cheese if it's gloomy and that famous Fargo Fillie when the weather is frightful. It's always sunny and flavorful inside @ Fargo Fillies & Mac Daddy’s, A Street Food Eatery. We took all the street food classics, added even more soon to be favorites while retaining the VIP Catering Fargo has known for decades, all in one location. You can still find us out often on a street near you, but be assured we're open nearly everyday at our new restaurant located at:
